What is whole body vibration training?
This is a form of exercise using a smoothly vibrating platform to cause thousands of muscle contractions at the same time. It is very efficient and would take much more time to achieve the same effects with other activities. Estimates are 10-20 minutes of WBV training = 1 hour traditional exercise. WBV has shown benefits for weight loss, strength, back pain, balance, and osteoporosis.
